Comprehensively developing the ideological and political curriculum in colleges and universities is not only a strategic measure to implement the fundamental task of moral education, but also a necessary path to deepen curriculum reform from the perspective of “great ideological and political education”. Taking Business Negotiation and Management Communication (BNMC)—the core course for international trade and business administration majors at Central South University—as an example, this paper proposes the principles of ideological and political case-based teaching, and systematically integrates ideological and political elements with professional knowledge accordingly. Focusing on the teaching content of Chapters~2, 3, and 7 of the textbook, it explores how to combine ideological and political cases with professional content in practical classroom scenarios. Finally, the paper summarizes the implementation of case-based ideological and political teaching in the BNMC course and offers several reflective insights.
