With the deepening of educational reform, the cultivation of Italian talent in universities should be further optimized. Teachers should actively introduce new educational ideas and methods to better stimulate students’ interest, enhance their understanding and application of the knowledge learned, and improve the effectiveness of education. The “Understanding Contemporary China” series of textbooks is a currently highly regarded educational resource. Introducing it into the cultivation of Italian talent can greatly enrich the content of talent cultivation and broaden the path of education, significantly promoting students’ more comprehensive development. In view of this, this article will analyze the cultivation of Italian talent from the perspective of “Understanding Contemporary China” and propose some strategies for reference by colleagues.
