The purpose of this study is to analyze the arrangements related to the suspension of detention as one of the rights possessed by suspects in criminal procedural law in Indonesia. This study uses a normative legal research method with an approach to legislation and legal concept analysis. The results of this study indicate that the laws and regulations governing the nominal value of money guarantees and the requirements for people as guarantors in the suspension of detention are still unclear. Therefore, efforts are needed from the legislators to revise legal products that specifically regulate the nominal value of money guarantees and the requirements for people as guarantors in the suspension of detention so that the implementation of the suspension of detention can run transparently in order to avoid subjective conflicts of interest by law enforcers.
