About the Norm of Uzbek Dialects

As is known, we have usually thought about the norm of the Uzbek literary language. There are no special works in Uzbek linguistics about the norm of the dialect itself, but instead of “norm”, the epithets “characteristic of the dialect” or “characteristic of the dialect” have been used. Indeed, there is no information in the theoretical literature about whether dialects have a norm, what parameters it is measured by, and in what aspects it differs from the concept of the literary language norm. This article presents an idea about the concept of norm, norm in dialects, its features in dialects, dialects
