Motivation: The accurate diagnosis of medulloblastoma and ependymoma in the posterior fossa of children is crucial for guiding treatment choices and assessing prognosis. Goal(s): To compare the differential diagnostic value of ASL and IVIM techniques in medulloblastoma and ependymoma among children Approach: The values of ASL (CBF value) and IVIM (ADCstandard, ADCslow, ADCfast, and f values) between medulloblastoma and ependymoma ware used to compare the differences between medulloblastoma and ependymoma. Results: Both ASL and IVIM techniques can be used to evaluate medulloblastoma and ependymoma, and the diagnostic efficacy of ADC-values of IVIM for the tumors is better than that of the CBF-value of ASL Impact: The diagnostic efficacy of the ADC-values is better than that of the CBF value for the differential diagnosis of medulloblastoma and ependymoma, which ontribute to disease diagnosis and choice of treatment options.
