Motivation: To explore the application of APT-weighted MRI in preoperative diagnosis of bladder cancer Goal(s): To determine whether APT-weighted MRI can be used to predict the pathological grading and muscular invasion of bladder cancer before surgery Approach: This retrospective study enrolled bladder cancer patients from First Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital, then measured APT values to assess the correlation with bladder cancer grade and muscularis invasion, using Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Results: The study involved 25 patients, and found a positive correlation between mean APT values and bladder cancer grade, with no significant correlation to muscularis invasion. Impact: This finding suggests that the preoperative application of APT for predicting the grade of bladder cancer may provide a more comprehensive evaluation scheme for personalized treatment of bladder cancer patients.
