Resumen

Motivation: Accurate preoperative differentiation of benign and malignant renal tumors is crucial for selecting the optimal treatment regimen and avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions and complications. Goal(s): This study aims to quantitatively compare the diagnostic values of arterial spin labeling (ASL) and intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) in differentiating benign and malignant renal tumors. Approach: To analyze the differences and diagnostic performances of MRI metrics among clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), non-ccRCC, and benign renal tumors. Results: Our results suggest that ASL performed better than IVIM-DWI in differentiating benign and malignant renal tumors. Impact: This study suggests that ASL can provide valuable information for the differential diagnosis of renal tumors, which is highly significant in guiding optimal decision-making.
