Motivation: By accelerating Synthetic MRI scan, the ability to quickly and easily obtain quantitative values could lead to the acquisition of new quantitative indicators for severity assessment and prognosis estimation in acute brain disorders. Goal(s): The goal is to achieve fast scan of Synthetic MRI while maintaining quantitative values even with increased speed. Approach: A fast scan method was made by modifying imaging parameters, and was compared with our hospital's standard method using ROI measurements. Results: Fast scan (1 min 12 sec) has been achieved, with T2 and R2 values maintained. Impact: Even with fast scanning of Synthetic MRI, T2 and R2 values are maintained. There is a potential for utilizing these values as new quantitative indicators for severity assessment and prognosis estimation in acute brain disorders.
