Case studies illuminate how creativity, personal engagement, and community mobilization drive non-profit fundraising success. This article analyzes three globally recognized campaigns—Charity: Water’s Birthday Campaign, the Movember Foundation, and Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure—to extract lessons on participatory fundraising and social capital. Each case demonstrates best practices such as leveraging personal milestones, employing storytelling, creating symbolic identities, and harnessing the viral power of social media. Beyond financial outcomes, these campaigns illustrate how inclusive, culturally resonant approaches strengthen collective identity and sustain long-term community trust. For practitioners, they provide replicable models adaptable to diverse contexts; for scholars, they highlight intersections between participatory development, resource mobilization, and symbolic engagement.
