Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has emerged as a transformative tool for sustainable development in India. Under the visionary framework of Viksit Bharat@2047, CSR-driven industry-academia collaborations are gaining significance in accelerating innovation and sustainability. This research paper explores the strategic role of CSR funding in fostering stronger partnerships between industry and academic institutions to address critical societal challenges, drive technological advancements, and promote sustainable development goals (SDGs). The paper examines key models and case studies where CSR funding has been effectively utilized to build collaborative research ecosystems, skill development programs, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
