Effectiveness of ICT integration in improving learners’ performance in the schools division of the city of Batac

Information and communication technology (ICT) has revolutionized various aspects of modern society, and education is no exception. It is for this reason that this study explored the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) integration on learners' performance. Involving 443 teachers in the public schools of the Schools Division of the City of Batac, a descriptive-correlational research design was employed. A self-perception survey tool facilitated data collection, analyzed using means and Pearson's r. Results reveal a selective and intermittent pattern in teachers' ICT usage, emphasizing presentation software, online research, and search engines. Overall, schools exhibit high ICT integration, particularly in leadership support, alignment with curriculum goals, and promotion of active learning. A positive correlation links teachers' ICT patterns and the overall integration status, contributing to improved Mean Percentage Scores (MPS) among students. Recommendations include encouraging diverse ICT tool use, providing ongoing professional development, fostering innovation, allocating resources for equitable access, conducting regular assessments, and establishing partnerships with external organizations for expertise and resources in ICT integration.
