The article examines peculiarities of the perception of historical information by modern youth, notes the increasing volume of «comic» perception of information and clip-thinking of students. These innovations require adaptation of the educational process. In pedagogical work it is proposed to actively use the potential of diverse Russian paremias. The author concludes about the high didactic productivity of using historical aphorisms. Examples are given, peculiarities are noted, and the advantages of this technique are characterized.
