Abstract The paper intends to outline a multifaceted approach for efficient management of methane emissions while meeting the requirements of Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP 2.0) gold standard certification. The company as part of ADNOC group is implementing robust methane emissions management program using innovative technologies, implementation of Best Available Techniques (BAT), robust monitoring, collaboration with industry partners, and capacity building. The paper describes the design features, monitoring technologies, and mitigation measures that has been implemented to prevent, measure, and minimize methane emissions from various sources, such as flaring, stationary combustion, fugitive leaks, and venting. The paper also highlights the results of the methane emission reduction program, which achieved a significant reduction in methane emissions, mainly from flaring and fugitive sources. The paper concludes that the efficient management of methane emissions roadmap is based on investing in methane reduction technologies, implementing best available techniques, strengthening leak detection and repair programs, implementing continuous monitoring, collaborating with industry partners and stakeholders, and engaging and building awareness among employees.
