The article considers the issues of uneven development of the Russian regions. As one of the instruments for equalizing regional development, it is proposed to introduce measures in the field of territorial marketing as a means of attracting public attention to a specific territory to accelerate its further development. The stages of regional marketing formation are identified and disclosed. The paper indicates marketing measures and the expected effect from them among the areas of influence necessary for the comprehensive development of the territory. Using the example of the Bryansk region, actions in the field of territorial marketing are proposed with an indication of the expected effect.
