Transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) have increasingly turned to advanced technologies to carry out cybercrimes on a global scale. This paper explores how these criminal networks exploit tools such as encrypted communication, cryptocurrencies, and the dark web to commit crimes like hacking, data theft, and financial fraud.Through analyzing case studies, law enforcement reports, and expert interviews, the study sheds light on how TCOs use technology to decentralize their operations, making them harder to track and combat. The paper also examines the challenges faced by international law enforcement, particularly in tracking illicit activities on encrypted platforms and blockchain systems. The findings suggest a pressing need for greater international collaboration and enhanced technological solutions to effectively tackle the rising threat of cybercrime.
