Egyptian electronic newspapers’ treatment of the Corona pandemic (Analytical and field study)

The problem of the study is represented in the following question: To what extent have Egyptian electronic newspapers, in their various directions, dealt with the Corona pandemic? And what journalistic treatment frameworks have they used. What journalistic forms and journalistic contents did Egyptian electronic newspapers use to address the Corona pandemic? The importance of the study is highlighted in how Egyptian electronic newspapers deal with the Corona pandemic, considering it one of the most dangerous crises and environmental disasters. The study aims to determine the extent of the interest of Egyptian electronic newspapers in the Corona pandemic, how they treat it, and the goals they aim to achieve behind this treatment, and to reveal the mechanisms and how the media handles the pandemic. Corona. In order to achieve this, the study used News Framing Theory, and the survey method, both descriptive and analytical, was also used, as well as the inferential method, and the comparative method, with the aim of identifying the similarities and differences in the Egyptian electronic newspapers' treatment of the Corona pandemic. The study population was represented by Egyptian electronic newspaper websites, and the size of the study sample was three Egyptian electronic newspaper websites representing Egyptian newspapers in their various directions ("Al-Ahram Portal", "Youm 7 Website" and "Al-Wafd Portal"). The results of the study showed that the electronic newspaper websites that the study covered it focused on live images, video, and graphics as the most important elements in dealing with the repercussions of the new Corona.
