A survey of Tmarus (Araneae: Thomisidae) from Central Ryukyu, Japan, with the description of a new species and the first description of the female of T. makiharai

Both sexes of a new species of Tmarus Simon 1875, Tmarus okinawanus n. sp., are described from Okinawajima Island, southwest Japan. Additionally, the female of T. makiharai Ono 1988 is described for the first time.
