Cases of anemia in East Java province is still high with a percentage of 57.1%, one of which is Sidoarjo district at 46.7%. The study aims to determine the relationship between diet and anemia in adolescent girls. The study design used Cross Sectional, the population of this study were 52 female adolescents in grade XI of SMA YPM2 Sukodono. Sampling used a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were a diet questionnaire and a Hemoglobin level checker, then analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 19 people had poor diets, 17 people (89.5%) had anemia, 29 people had sufficient diets, 4 people (13.8%) had anemia and 4 people had good diets, 2 people (50%) had anemia, after the Chi-Square test, a p value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. There is a significant relationship between diet and cases of anemia in adolescent girls.
