This article analyzes the primary challenges faced by the tourism industry. In 2022, significant changes occurred in the global economy and social sphere, impacting all sectors. These changes have certainly affected all industries. Therefore, it is important to learn how to apply integrated approaches to existing processes in order to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction of the tourism industry. Today, the tourism sector must be ready to adapt to the changing needs and expectations of its customers. Modern business conditions in the tourism sector require constant revision and updating of processes to increase competitiveness and improve the quality of services. The author comes to the conclusion about the importance of reengineering as a key element of strategic management in the tourism business, emphasizing the need for adaptation and an innovative approach to achieve sustainable development in a dynamically changing market.
