The article makes suggestions on modelling the process of adaptation of engineering students to the educational process. It is established that the pedagogical conditions for the formation of adaptation of engineering students to the educational process at higher educational institutions include the use of the latest information technologies in the application of diverse means. Criteria and indicators of this process were established: target, special training, competence, computer literacy. Based on these criteria, three levels of professional adaptation were determined: basic, intermediate and higher levels.
