For the community, Islamic boarding schools are important institutions that help the nation's children improve their moral character. Pondok Pesantren's ability to remain independent is also the result of its rejection of ideologies that conflict with Islamic principles. Relatively speaking, it is the oldest educational institution in Indonesia that has managed to survive following the dynamics of modern development. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach method. Data collection techniques include conducting interviews, observing or observing the implementation of activities and participation of Islamic boarding school administrators as well as through technical documentation. The results of the research show that the role of the boarding school in improving the psychology of students is as follows: Habituation, example, coaching, sincerity, providing information that is easy to understand, and being kind. The moral development of students is positively influenced by the moral principles taught in Islamic boarding schools.
