Implementation of the Food Security Program in the Sumorame Village Government, Candi Sub-District, Sidoarjo District

This research study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the food security program in Sumorame Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. First, communication during the implementation of the food security program is an important factor in the success of the program. The second is Resources, resources in terms of human implementation, involving farmer groups to coordinate and collaborate in carrying out the program. The resources of equipment or infrastructure facilities are not optimal enough, because there are several obstacles including limited agricultural land, natural factors and the geographical location of the agricultural area in Sumorame Village that is not supportive and the income of the hydrophonics program is not optimal. Third, the disposition in general is that the attitude and response in the implementation of the food security program shows a positive attitude and high commitment from all parties involved.
