Academic stress in students arises due to learning activities and academic pressure, especially in final year students. This research aims to determine the influence of self-regulation and time management on academic stress. Using quantitative methods, descriptive analysis and multiple regression on 322 students of the Class of 2020 at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, it was found that self-regulation and time management had a significant effect on academic stress (F test = 1686.367, p<0.05). Inability to manage time well can increase academic stress, so a better understanding of time management is needed.
