Septic arthritis of the temporomandibular joint (SATMJ) is very rare in the pediatrics population. In children, it can be acquired through trauma or as a complication of acute otitis media or otomastoiditis. Prompt diagnosis and management are crucial for full recovery without complications such as ankylosis or growth disturbance. In this case report, we present a case of a 6 year-old who presented with an acute SATMJ and was successfully treated with surgical and medical intervention.
