Abstract A production scheduling method for cement plants considering demand response (DR) and carbon trading is proposed. Firstly, the production process of the cement plant is analyzed, and the load DR model of the cement plant is established. Secondly, the carbon emission mechanism of cement plants is analyzed, the quantitative expression between carbon emission and production arrangement is established, and the stepped carbon trading model is used to calculate carbon trading costs. Finally, a production scheduling model for cement plants is established, which takes DR and carbon trading into consideration. By optimizing the power purchase and production plan of each link, the goal of minimum power purchase cost and carbon transaction cost is achieved. The example analysis shows that the proposed method can realize the electric-carbon collaborative optimization of cement plants under the power market and carbon market.
