Previous studies suggest an association between late pregnancy exposure to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) and increased postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) risk. This is the first pregnancy registry study to compare PPH outcomes among women with psychiatric illness exposed or unexposed to SSRIs/SNRIs proximate to delivery.
