Abstract Introduction International congresses (IC) play a crucial role in promoting occupational health worldwide, especially in LMICs. In these regions, where resources and expertise may be limited, and, in most of the time, are scared, IC provides unique opportunities for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and collaboration to improve OSH. What’s the impact of ICOH2024? Methods A successful ICOH2024 involves a combination of carefully prepared materials and effective methods in ensuring both scientific and social success of the event, and its effectiveness in promoting OSH. Results Here’s an overview of the key results Knowledge Sharing, Networking, Policy Development, Capacity Building, Innovation, Multidisciplinary Collaboration, Advocacy and Awareness, Continuing Education, Best Practice Dissemination, Awareness and Advocacy, Global Perspective, Research Advancement, Stakeholder Engagement and Long-Term Impact. Attending ICOH2024 helps participants stay up-to-date with the latest research and practices. Discussion The goal of ICOH2024 is to create an engaging and informative environment. Knowledge, collaborations, and relationships established during ICOH2024 can have a lasting impact on OSH. ICOH2024 outcomes can shape policies, practices, and research priorities for years to come. Conclusion In LMICs, where resources and expertise may be limited, IC, as ICOH2024, serve as platforms for learning, collaboration, resource sharing, and capacity building. They are essential for addressing the unique challenges faced by LMICs in the realm of OSH. They offer a pathway to contribute to the global efforts in promoting OSH and well-being, and offer opportunities to closing the gaps and work towards enhancing OSH in these regions. This is the goal that MOHA was looking for in organizing ICOH2024.
