The contentious Article 370 had granted the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) considerable autonomy, leading to various issues, including an imminent threat to the unity of the nation. The revocation has appeared to be an important juncture in the persistent conflict between India and Pakistan. Since Article 370 was a "short-term provision" that required to be changed or repealed, this study looks at the Indian government's recent decision on the former state of J&K. The newly formed state of J&K forfeited its special status on August 5, 2019. The qualitative method is used for data collection, which includes both primary (interviews) and secondary sources. The primary objective of this paper is to examine Pakistan's approach and India-Pakistan relations following the elimination of Article 370. This study also examines India's management approach, the internationalization of Article 370, and lastly suggestions for policy implementation.
