The establishment of the national cybersecurity system (NCS) in 2018 and the launch of legal procedures ensuring the activities of Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) were the first step in the holistic approach to ensuring security in cyberspace of the Republic of Poland. The intuitively established system finds its place in a higher-level system, namely the national security system. However, to date, it is not possible to find a systemic definition relating to the issue of national security in the Polish legal system. Meanwhile, the development of technology and the construction of increasingly complex tools designed to force the user to react in cyberspace necessitate the need to verify the effectiveness of the current functioning of the NCS.
