This research studies one of the phonetic phenomena in the linguistic system, namely the phenomenon of transformation in Arabic verbs, as found in the famous Nine Odes (Nine Mu'allaqat). This was applied to the poetic verses in the Mu'allaqat. Poetry is fundamentally based on language, and a poet’s creativity does not flourish unless they possess the medium, which is the language through which they express their thoughts. The research mentioned some applications that illustrate the phenomenon of transformation in both regular and irregular verbs. Before this, the research explored the term "transformation" linguistically and terminologically and highlighted the main forms of phonetic transformation in the Nine Mu'allaqat. The research concluded with the most important findings.
