This paper explores and practices some innovative and effective teaching reforms in the IoT Introduction course to improve the course's quality and enhance students' interest and ability. The reforms include the introduction of practical cases and demonstrations, the increase of practical and experimental courses, the focus on new technologies and trends, the increase of classroom interaction and discussion, and the design of course content, classroom teaching, and course evaluation. The paper aims to provide some references and ideas for the development and improvement of IoT education and talent training.
