The purpose of this article is to study the topical issue of providing human resources to the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. The main focus is on the use of state information systems in the fi eld of education as a tool for improving the efficiency of human resources management in the agro-industrial complex. An analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of information systems, their impact on the process of training and monitoring specialists who meet the requirements of the modern agro-industrial complex, was carried out. The article presents proposals for the integration of educational and sectoral information systems in order to form a stable and adaptive talent pipeline for the agro-industrial complex. The importance of interdepartmental interaction and synergy of the fi eld of education and the agro-industrial complex is highlighted. The author established that the development and implementation of the segment on the personnel aspect in the informational system of digital services of the agro-industrial complex opens up new prospects for solving the problem of the shortage of qualified personnel in the agro-industrial complex of Russia. This will not only optimize the process of training specialists, but also create a more transparent and effective system for managing the personnel aspect of the agro-industrial complex, which contributes to the sustainable development of the industry and strengthening the country’s food security.
