This study develops a structural model to analyze the impact of connectivity on seaport competitiveness, using Ho Chi Minh City Port as a case study.Survey data was obtained from 370 port authority experts, managers and business professionals.PLS-SEM analysis indicates connectivity factors like services, facilities and authorities influence competitiveness directly and indirectly.However, geographical location has the strongest effect.The results provide valuable insights for port managers to prioritize investments in transport infrastructure and coordinate with shipping lines.Enhancing connectivity emerges as vital for handling larger vessels and traffic growth.
