Chinese vernacular realistic oil painting, as a unique art form, has become an important part of the Chinese art scene since the 1970s. This article aims to study the language expression of this art form in different periods, analyze its characteristics in composition, modeling, color, and emotional expression, and explore its status and role in the development of Chinese oil painting. Through literature review and analysis of classic works, this article reveals the historical context and future development directions of Chinese vernacular realistic oil painting.
