In today's automotive design landscape, integrating human factors presents a significant innovation challenge. This research focuses on studying the impact of the panel phase on vibroacoustic simulations of bang noise, to enhance overall vibroacoustic comfort. The study unfolds in two steps: first, constructing a numerical Finite Element Model (FEM) of the vehicle to analyze the panel phase's contribution to bang noise at the passenger's ear position using ANSA software; and second, proposing methods to control panel phase and highlighting the analytical concepts behind each solution. Through this research, we used new methods to offer insights and solutions for improving vibroacoustic comfort in automotive design.
