Lipomatous hypertrophy of the interatrial septum: A benign heart anomaly that may complicate transseptal puncture

We present a case of a 72-year-old male with tachycardia-induced cardiomyopathy related to persistent atrial fibrillation with accompanying lipomatous hypertrophy of the interatrial septum (LHIS), successfully treated with cryoablation of pulmonary veins.
