The 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake struck with strong shake accompanied with tsunami, fire, liquefaction, and landslides. An emergence survey was conducted by the authors' team, mostly focused on the damage of road bridges from 6th to 8th January 2024, about one week after the earthquake. In this preliminary report, ground motion record of most shakes areas and their responses spectrum were presented to clarify the intensity and features of this earthquake. Damages on the long span bridges connected the Noto Island and the peninsula, namely Noto Island Ohashi Bridge and Naka-Noto agriculture bridge (Twin Bridge Noto), which are the only two ways to access the Noto Island were reported. Other damages found on this survey including the damages on Okogawa bridges, Ouchigata bridge and a collapsed old wooden bridge were also reported.
