Train control system is one of the key technical equipment to ensure the safe operation of trains and improve transportation efficiency. It can control the whole process of train operation in real time and ensure the safe operation of trains with high speed and high density. On the basis of studying and drawing lessons from the international advanced train control system technology system and the application of key technologies, China has vigorously carried out the research and construction of Chinese Train Control System (CTCS) in combination with China's actual situation. CTCS-2 and CTCS-3 Train Control Systems are widely used in China's high-speed railways at present. CTCS-2 is a train control system based on track circuit and balise to transmit movement authority information, which is mainly used in 200 ~ 250 km/h railways; CTCS-3 train control system adopts Global System for Mobile Communications for Railway (GSM-R) wireless communication to realize two-way realtime transmission of train-ground information, which meets the requirements of high speed, high density and cross-line operation of EMUs with different speed classes on 300~350 km/h high-speed railway lines in China. This paper studies the technical realization of the ground core equipment of CTCS-2, train control center, and briefly introduces its maintenance experience.
