On Contemporary Technologies of the Development of Professional Competence of a Lawyer

Purpose. To prove the need to change the approach to the formation of professional qualities of a lawyer with the help of modern technologies. Methodology: methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, description, logical techniques and tools are used. Conclusions. The purposes of legal education need to be changed from endowing graduates with competencies that give them the right to master the profession, to the formation of professional qualifications that allow them to carry out specialized legal activities at the required level. To achieve these goals, it is proposed to make extensive use of specialization, individualization, modern means of forming moral, volitional, intellectual, communicative and other professional qualities of a lawyer. Scientific and practical significance. The provisions of this publication can be used in conducting scientific research on this topic. In addition, they can be used in the educational process in institutions of higher and additional professional education to develop the above qualities in students.
