The management and security of patient data is going through a significant transformation in the healthcare sector. Three primary problems with traditional healthcare data management systems are patient permission, interoperability, and security. This study proposes a new paradigm for the exchange, security, and archiving of medical data and looks at the use of blockchain technology to healthcare data management. Because blockchain technology is decentralized and unchangeable, it offers a unique answer to problems associated with healthcare data management. This study explores the core ideas of blockchain technology, such as immutability, decentralization, and consensus procedures, and shows how these qualities help to solve important problems related to healthcare data management. We also examine successful blockchain installations and use cases in the healthcare sector to further highlight the practical advantages of blockchain technology, including enhanced patient consent management, more straightforward data transfer, and enhanced data security. This study investigates these problems and offers suggestions for future developments in blockchain-based healthcare data management in addition to possible solutions.
