Compared to the overhead system, the underground system has a number of advantages, but the main drawback is that the precise position of the fault cannot be determined. To address this issue, we are putting out a novel approach called Underground Cable Fault site Using IOT, which allows us to pinpoint the fault site in kilometers starting from the base station. The cable needs to be tested for flaws in order to identify any issues. Ohms law is a basic principle used in this research. The current would change based on how long the cable's defect was. Instead of using overhead wires, electrical cables are run underground in urban areas. When an underground cable malfunctions, it can be challenging to pinpoint the exact position of the problem so that the line can be fixed.
