The main objective of the project is to detect Diseases in groundnut. This project detects the diseases using a webcam after uploading the picture into a website and provides a cure to the disease along with the details of the diseases. Groundnut serves as one among the most significant crop of our country. This low priced crop has all valuable sources of nutrients in it. Some growing conditions have optimal soil conditions for dry, clean and flawless groundnuts in shell. Due to moisture stress, poor soil fertility, pests and diseases, insufficient inputs, and crop production on marginal and submarginal areas, groundnut productivity in India is low. Most common diseases in groundnut are seed rots and seedling diseases such as root rot, stem rot, wilts, blight, pod rot, foliar diseases such as rust and early and late leaf spots. The awareness and concern for quality among Indian groundnut shellers and processors is constantly increasing. Thus, this project helps farmers to predict and provide cure for the diseases in groundnut. This prediction helps in improving the yield and hence increasing the quality of yield and also the profit.
