New species of Campoletis Förster, 1869 from the Neotropical region (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Campopleginae)

Abstract Campoletis Förster, 1869 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Campopleginae) is a species-rich genus with more than 110 valid species known worldwide, most of them occurring in the Palaearctic and Nearctic regions. However, Campoletis species of the Neotropics are rather poorly discovered, previously only six species were known to occur in the region. In this paper Campoletis yaga sp. nov. is described from Chile, with notes on the identification of the species.
