Destruction of or Damage to Cultural Heritage Sites: A Criminalistic Classification of Crimes

It is important to take into account a criminalistic classification of the respective crime type (group) in the development of private crime investigation methods. It can partly serve as an alternative to or supplement the criminalistic characteristics of crimes. As an example, the article gives the criminalistic classification of crimes stipulated by Art. 243 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The authors also bring forward proposals aimed at raising the efficiency of prevention of the reviewed crime category.
