The Rivers are drying up and becoming more contaminated for a variety of causes, which is extremely bad for the environment and all living things. It is getting worse for the environment and the next generation of humans that species are disappearing and that habitats are being lost because of human activity. Large-scale pollution of the River Narmada has become a major issue for all. In Hinduism, the Narmada River is considered sacred. Given the alarming rate at which pollution is growing, it will be challenging for us to preserve our holy Narmada. An attempt has been made to identify the factors polluting the Narmada river, in this research. The Government Open Dataset and online forums are just two of the places where the research data was gathered. The data mining approach is used for the analysis, which involves extracting hidden and valuable information that is difficult to find. The dataset is mined in order to identify the reasons. RapidMiner is an open-source software platform, extensively used to execute data mining. The Naive Bayes Classifier is used to categorize the factors of pollution. As the predictions are created to identify the impact of the pollutants on the basis of provided pollution factors, the data is trained and tested, respectively, to verify the accuracy of the system. The causes of pollution and workable remedies are discussed in the paper's conclusion.
