When Adventure Doesn’t Fit: Size Inclusion in the Outdoors

Summary From hiking the slopes of Mount Everest and mountain biking from Canada to Mexico, to starting my own body positive adventure organisation, I share my adventure journey as a woman in a plus size body, mapping my way to find acceptance, identity and a sense of belonging in the outdoors. Facing the ongoing struggle to find adventure clothing that fits bodies like mine, I explore the ideas of inclusion, safety, and the improved experience that comes from gear that fits.
