The article presents methodological recommendations for organizing and conducting a training study, the purpose of which is to fi nd the personal meaning of studying the subject by each student. Students are invited to look at redox reactions through the eyes of people of different professions in order to realize the importance of these chemical processes for the development of civilization. The implementation of the plan is based on the integration of time and extracurricular activities in chemistry.
