An Application Study of the "Oral Length Approach" in Oral Teaching in College English Majors

Oral English is becoming more important for English major students in China.The oral length approach combines the advantages of the output hypothesis, the affective filter hypothesis, and the length approach.This approach can benefit students' oral English skills in three aspects and college professors are expected to use this theory in real oral teaching.Three specific methods are recommended for teachers to apply the oral length approach in English majors.
