The article presents the scheme and design of a sprouted grain dryer with a convective and infrared method of supplying thermal energy. Optimization criteria and factors influencing the drying of sprouted grain using the proposed dryer are determined. It is known that the sprouted grain has an inhomogeneous structure, a denser and more voluminous grain and a less dense thin flow. The initial humidity of the sprouted grain before laying in the dryer is 54-56 %, and the final humidity should be 14 %.
