Problems of Sustainable Development of the Far East in the Context of Global Challenges

The article considers the problems of the strategically important Russian region – the Far East. In modern conditions, when the Russian Federation has made a political and trade turn to the East, the problems of the region through which transport routes to Asia pass become especially relevant for Russia.
